CYCLE ROUTES IN DOLYNA REGION

The representatives of the Project and Educational Centre “Agents of Changes” and the Scientific Park of the Precarpathian University made a working visit to Dolyna Raion in order to elaborate the project idea of cycle routes on the territory of Dolyna ATC, Shevchenko Village Council, Vytvytsia and Vyhoda ATC.

This idea under the title “The Boikos on bikes” was proposed by the students of the specialty “Finance, Banking and Insurance”, Andriy Sikan and Yuriy Huley under the supervision of the expert of the “Agents of changes”, Tetiana Myhocych. This project has been theoretically developed since March 2020. At the initiative of the director of the Centre “Agents of Changes”, Svitlana Kropelnytska, and the head of the Scientific Park “Precarpathian University”, Roman Bubna, the developers of the project of touristic cycle routes decided to present their vision on the development of cyclotourism in the communities.

In order to develop the project in a more detailed way and to understand the components of the project, the working meeting was joined by the deputy head of Dolyna Raion Council, Mykhailo Lavriv, the office manager of the raion council, Zenoviy Mandryk, the head of Shevchenko Village Council, Mykola Matsalak, the director of the MEDniester Regional Landscape Park”, Mykhailo Kovtun, the officials of Dolyna ATC, Natalia Dyndyn and Olena Nemets, the representative of Vytvytsia ATC, Vitaliy Kulpa, the deputies of Shevchenko Village Council and other active representatives of the communities. In the lively discussion, everybody definitely supported the idea and thanked the scholars and students for their involvement in the development of the region.

The participants also visited picturesque locations – stops of the future cycle routes, namely, the village of Lolyn, Shevchenko Forestry, SEVyhoda Forestryand tract “Shandra”.

“The common work will result in the development of another interesting, topical project initiated by the students of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University and other activisits to improve internal touristic destinations of the Carpathians,” – said the director of the Centre “Agents of Changes”, Svitlana Kropelnytska.
