Online meeting with the UNESCO expert
Today, in a short online meeting, the head of the Agents of Changes, Associate Professor of the Finance Department of the Precarpathian University, Svitlana Kropelnytska, who has a long-term research and practical experience in the sphere of cluster project realization, discussed the issue of developing cluster creative industries in Ukraine with the UNESCO expert on implementing the 2005 Convention on cultural diversity, Professor, Doctor Lidia Varbanova.
Ms. Varbanova wondered about the current situation with the development of creative clusters in Ukraine and if people understood the importance of these clusters for the country.
They also discussed business models which can guarantee the financial viability of “creative” clusters, main factors of their success and the biggest problems on the way of their launch.
By the way, Lidia Varbanova is the director of a Master’s degree programme of the National Academy of Theatre and Film Studies in Bulgaria and has a long-term experience as an advisor on strategy, policy and entrepreneurship (Art, culture and creative industry) in Europe and Canada.
