Internship and cooperation agreement with Bronislav Markevich State Higher Technical and Economic School
Within the framework of the program of the sector budget support provided by the EU, the specialists of the project «Creation of Project and Educational Centre for innovation development and investment promotion in the region» Agents of Changes visited the Polish city of Yaroslav. The team was represented by specialists from the Department of Finance, International Economic Relations Department, Pedagogical Department, the Department of General and Clinical Psychology, the Department of International Relations, and the University’s Science Park. The purpose of the trip – emulating the experience in the preparation and successful implementation of various types of projects and signing an agreement and memorandum of cooperation with Bronislav Markevich State Higher Technical and Economic School in Yaroslav and the REA Development Foundation – was achieved.
The representatives of the delegation learned about the results of the successfully implemented project «Yaroslav’s Dungeon», which was implemented under the cross-border cooperation program Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2007-2013. They got acquainted with the history and culture of the ancient city of Yaroslav, and discussed tools and sources of funding for innovation and investment in the European Union with Zbigniew Możdżen, Chairman of the Cultural Roads Foundation, Edita Pitko, Chairman of the Board of «REA LLC», Chairman of the «Szeroki zasiȩg» Foundation, Bronislaw Markiewicz, Rector of Bronislaw Markiewicz State Higher Technical and Economic School and Krzysztof Reiman, Associate Professor, Dr.habil.
In turn, Svitlana Kropelnytska, Director of the Project and Educational Center «Agents of Changes», Associate Professor of Finance at the Precarpathian National University, presented the project and encouraged the partners to actively cooperate, because for successful development, it is necessary to use both Ukrainian scientific potential and foreign experience of successful project implementation.
Some trainings were also carried out during the visit. In particular, consideration was given to the theoretical aspects of functioning of different types of projects and sources of their funding, as well as to the practical approaches in project preparation. For example, general principles of project and budget preparation and cost eligibility assessment. Special emphasis were placed on the development of individual components of different types of projects on a case-by-case basis by the method of case study.
Another day in Yaroslav was devoted to the study of the experience of scientific and pedagogical work of Bronislav Markevich State Higher Technical and Economic School. Representatives of the Project and Educational center «Agents of Changes» got acquainted with the structure of the School and had a conversation with the teachers.
At the close of the visit an Agreement on Cooperation was signed between Bronislav Markevich State Higher Technical and Economic School and Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.
It is worth noting that during the internship the project expert of «Agents of Changes» Associate Professor Myroslava Kulesha-Lyubinets conducted one-on-one counseling sessions on maintaining the mental health of the participants and conducted awareness-raising sessions on developing stress tolerance and team cohesion.
The next meeting with the partners will take place in Ivano-Frankivsk.
