The Project and Educational Centre the AGENTS OF CHANGES of the Precarpathian University and Ivano-Frankivsk oblast’s experts interested in the local and regional development took part in the videoconference “Economic development of communities in a post-coronavirus world”. It was held by the representatives of the international technical support project “Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance” (PLEDDG) together with the REGIONET Network on April 22.

The videoconference agenda included a number of urgent issues presented and discussed by the participants:

•        The 2020 state regional policy: theory and practice, strategy and tactics
•        Short-term and long-term strategies of saving and supporting business in extreme situations
•        The role of business support institutions in overcoming the economic crisis
•        The strategy of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast’s development till 2027: ways of attracting investments in the region’s economy
•        Business in a post-coronavirus world
•       Online local economic development under the PLEDDG project.

The participants were provided with the presentation of the problematic and modern issue “Digitalization of Educational and Consultation Processes” prepared by the director, Svitlana Kropelnytska based on the example of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian Univerisity and its department – the Project and Educational Centre the AGENTS OF CHANGES.
